Genesis LLC (“GENESIS,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) operates the GENESIS AI personal assistant platform, including the website at mygenesis.app, the mobile application, and all related services (collectively, the “Service”). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our Service.

1. Information We Collect

1.1 Information You Provide

  • Account Information: Name, email address, phone number, and password when you create an account.
  • Profile Data: Goals, preferences, habits, schedules, and other personal details you share with your GENESIS assistant to personalize the experience.
  • Communications: Messages, voice recordings, and other content you send through the Service, including chat messages, voice commands, and SMS interactions.
  • Payment Information: Billing details processed securely through Stripe. We do not store your full credit card number.
  • Connected Accounts: Data from third-party services you connect (e.g., Google Calendar, email, CRM tools) via OAuth through our integration partner, Composio.

1.2 Information Collected Automatically

  • Usage Data: Interaction patterns, feature usage, session duration, and general analytics.
  • Device Information: Device type, operating system, browser type, and unique device identifiers.
  • Log Data: IP address, access times, pages viewed, and referring URLs.
  • Location Data: Approximate location based on IP address, or precise location if you grant permission in the mobile app.

1.3 AI-Generated Information

  • Memory and Context: GENESIS creates persistent memories based on your conversations to provide personalized assistance. This includes behavioral patterns, preferences, relationship context, and goals.
  • Emotional Intelligence Data: Sentiment analysis and mood patterns derived from your interactions to provide empathetic responses.
  • Insights and Recommendations: AI-generated analysis of your data to provide proactive suggestions, briefings, and alerts.

2. How We Use Your Information

  • Provide, maintain, and improve the GENESIS AI assistant experience
  • Personalize responses, recommendations, and proactive intelligence
  • Process transactions and manage your subscription
  • Send transactional communications (verification codes, appointment reminders, task notifications, daily briefings, follow-up nudges)
  • Enable voice interactions and voice call features
  • Enable SMS communications and two-way conversational messaging
  • Connect and interact with your authorized third-party services
  • Detect and prevent fraud, abuse, and security threats
  • Comply with legal obligations
  • Improve our AI models and Service quality (using aggregated, anonymized data only)

3. How We Share Your Information

We do not sell your personal information. We may share your data with:

  • AI Processing: Anthropic (Claude AI) via Cloudflare AI Gateway for processing your requests. Conversations are not used to train third-party AI models.
  • Memory Services: Mem0 for persistent memory storage, encrypted and isolated per user.
  • Voice Services: Deepgram for speech-to-text and text-to-speech processing.
  • Communication Services: Twilio for SMS messaging and voice call functionality.
  • Integration Services: Composio for connecting to your authorized third-party apps.
  • Infrastructure: Cloudflare (hosting, CDN, security), Supabase (database), Vercel (web dashboard).
  • Payments: Stripe for secure payment processing.
  • Legal Requirements: When required by law, court order, or to protect our rights and safety.

4. Data Storage and Security

  • Your data is stored on secure servers provided by Cloudflare and Supabase with encryption at rest and in transit.
  • Each user has an isolated data environment (Durable Object with embedded SQLite) — your data is never mixed with other users.
  • We implement industry-standard security measures including TLS encryption, rate limiting, WAF protection, PII redaction, and two-factor authentication (TOTP).
  • Voice recordings are processed in real-time and not permanently stored unless you explicitly save a voice message.
  • SMS messages are processed through Twilio’s secure infrastructure with A2P 10DLC compliance.

5. Your Rights and Choices

  • Access: You can request a copy of all data GENESIS holds about you.
  • Correction: You can update or correct your personal information at any time.
  • Deletion: You can request complete deletion of your account and all associated data (GDPR-compliant). We will process deletion requests within 30 days.
  • Data Export: You can export your data in a machine-readable format.
  • Opt-Out of SMS: Reply STOP to any SMS message or disable SMS notifications in your account settings.
  • Opt-Out of Proactive Messages: You can disable specific notification types (morning briefings, reminders, follow-ups) in your settings.
  • Disconnect Integrations: You can revoke access to any connected third-party service at any time.
  • Memory Management: You can ask GENESIS to forget specific information or clear all memories.

6. SMS and Voice Communications

  • By providing your phone number and opting in, you consent to receive SMS messages from GENESIS including verification codes, notifications, reminders, briefings, and conversational AI responses.
  • Message frequency varies based on your usage and notification preferences.
  • Message and data rates may apply depending on your carrier plan.
  • Reply HELP for assistance or STOP to unsubscribe from SMS messages at any time.
  • Voice calls are made using your explicit authorization through the GENESIS app. Call recordings are not stored unless you opt in.
  • Your phone number is not shared with third parties for marketing purposes.

7. Children’s Privacy

GENESIS is not intended for users under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we become aware that we have collected data from a child under 18, we will take steps to delete that information promptly.

8. International Data Transfers

Your data may be processed in the United States and other countries where our service providers operate. By using GENESIS, you consent to the transfer of your data to these locations. We ensure appropriate safeguards are in place for international data transfers.

9. Data Retention

We retain your personal data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. After account deletion, we will remove your data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law or for legitimate business purposes (e.g., fraud prevention, legal compliance).

10. Third-Party Links and Services

GENESIS may interact with third-party services on your behalf. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of these third-party services. We encourage you to review the privacy policies of any third-party services you connect to GENESIS.

11. California Privacy Rights (CCPA)

If you are a California resident, you have additional rights under the CCPA, including the right to know what personal information is collected, the right to delete your data, and the right to opt out of the sale of personal information.
